Frugal Weight Managment


I have had a very busy year, trying to finish my PhD whilst starting a very intensive teacher training course. With very little time to spare I have let my fitness levels drop and my weight increase. Two days ago (and at the recommendation of a friend) I began using http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ it is a free calorie and exercise counter, which also has forums for support (I joined a frugal weight loss group) - it is day three and so far it seems to be quite good. You post your goals to your groups or your friends and they can keep an eye on you for support (and a little tough-love when needed.) It has a pretty extensive library of food - you can usually find what you want already added and it gives you the breakdown of protein, carbohydrates and fat as well as calories. So far so good.......
